SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS 10) – Computer Aided Dispatch, known as CAD, is a $2 million system upgrade that allows Saratoga County to share data with neighboring Albany and Rensselaer counties for mutual aid purposes. The data is also shared with the Saratoga Springs Police Department.
“If we have a very active call going on and we need to get several cars to that call, we are able to do that through that software,” explained Sgt. Laura Emanation, of the Saratoga Springs Police Department. “And it takes away the stress off of having to think on the fly.”
