Houston Chronicle: Manvel, Pearland police to share data system

In an effort to modernize its records management system and save money, the Manvel Police Department has reached an agreement with its counterpart in Pearland to piggyback onto its data management system. The new deal means enhanced cooperation between both cities’ police forces and more options for residents when it comes to tracking crime in their communities.
