Dan Maier

As Chief Revenue Officer, Dan leads CentralSquare’s Sales, Pre-Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement and Marketing functions. Prior to joining CentralSquare, Dan served as senior vice president of sales for North American markets at Ellucian, a global provider of software and services in higher education. In this role, he was responsible for all product, services and cloud sales in North America. He led the company’s sales planning and execution strategy, working closely with Ellucian’s customer success team on overall customer engagement for the North American business. Previously, he held roles as the vice president of sales and marketing at Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc. (CRS) and the vice president of sales for Illume Software, primarily responsible for launching their enterprise sales strategy. Prior to CRS, Dan spent 11 years at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), where he served in several sales and sales management positions, including senior vice president for the Americas channel sales organization and vice president for worldwide inside sales.

Dan’s personal commitment to public service runs deep, highlighted by his service as a captain in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and a field artillery officer in the 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment. Dan serves as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America in his local community and is active in coaching youth sports.
