Milestone demonstrates strong momentum in cloud adoption across public safety and public administration
Lake Mary, FL – January 20, 2026 – CentralSquare Technologies, the leading provider of public sector software in North America, today announced it has exceeded its Cloud 1000 initiative, reaching 1,065 cloud deployments across its Public Administration (PA) and Public Safety & Justice (PSJ) portfolios. Deployments from agencies including Fairfax County Police, Virginia, Murrieta, California Police Department, and Fairbanks, Alaska Emergency Communications Center, reflect nationwide momentum across jurisdictions of all sizes toward more robust public sector infrastructure.
Launched in December 2024, the initiative set a bold vision to accelerate AWS cloud migration across the public sector. Now surpassing this milestone, CentralSquare continues to modernize essential government operations while strengthening resilience, efficiency and public service.
Key Milestone Highlights
“At today’s pace of transformation, the cloud is mission critical infrastructure as evidenced by CentralSquare doubling its cloud customer base in 2025,” said Manolis Kotzabasakis, CEO, CentralSquare Technologies. “Surpassing 1,000 cloud deployments reflects the magnitude of trust public service professionals place in CentralSquare to power modern operations and keep communities safe.”
“CentralSquare’s achievement demonstrates the power of our partnership in modernizing government infrastructure, strengthening the security, resilience, and reliability of critical public safety systems that millions depend on daily,” said Kim Majerus, Vice President of U.S. State & Local Government and Global Education at AWS.
Agencies across the country are realizing faster, more reliable and streamlined workflows with CentralSquare cloud solutions.
“Cloud technology makes resilience possible,” said Mark Boudreaux, Executive Director of Terrebonne Parish Communications District, Louisiana. “We don’t rely on hope anymore. We rely on the cloud, a bigger generator, and Starlink to get us through emergencies.”
“Moving to the cloud gave us the confidence we need to support everyone who relies on us,” said Kristi Merideth, Dispatch Manager at Fairbanks, Alaska Emergency Communications Center.
CentralSquare continues to collaborate closely with AWS to ensure public sector clients receive strong security, scale, and performance as they modernize operations in the cloud.
