CentralSquare Technologies, an industry leader in public safety software, announced that Chelsea Police Department and Communications Center in Chelsea, Massachusetts, has migrated from CentralSquare’s legacy IMC product to CentralSquare Public Safety Suite Pro as their preferred and trusted public safety suite. Chelsea is first in the state of MA to implement this modern platform. The new system will include CAD, Records, Mobile, FieldOps and CLQ solutions.
Chelsea chose the CentralSquare Pro Suite over Mark43 and Pro Phoenix software platforms as the best solution to simplify their operations and data sharing, reduce reliance on the city’s IT system, create efficiencies and improve overall community policing.
“We are happy to extend our 20-year relationship with CentralSquare as our Public Safety software provider,” said Ed Hernandez, Senior Crime Analyst at Chelsea Police & Communications Center. “CentralSquare was able to demonstrate the depth of the Pro Suite, while also extending its commitment to public safety – which was a key differentiator when choosing our next step.”
“We are looking to leverage the analytical tools in CentralSquare to provide our citizens with up-to-date information as well as the online reporting tool to provide people with more access to our department even from home, transparency and accessibility are paramount to the relationship between our PD and Community.” Said Brian Kyes, Chief of Police at the Chelsea Police Department.
With CentralSquare’s Pro Suite, Chelsea’s police department and communications center will benefit from fully configurable dashboards for instant visibility into current and future tasks. Additionally, the system’s managed services solution will improve 24/7×365 uptime, allowing the department’s IT staff to focus their time on priority items.
