Conroe Police Chief Jeff Christy is hoping to get council approval in the next several weeks to update his department’s antiquated dispatch and data storage system for better workflow, service to the public and officer safety.
Christy presented information to the Conroe City Council during its workshop Wednesday regarding a potential contract with Florida-based CentralSquare Technologies. According to Christy the department has been using is current system since 1998.
