The Greenville Police Department on Tuesday launched a new computer aided dispatch and records management system that’s been in the works since May.
The City Council approved a seven-year contract with Superion, now, Central Square Technologies, for $300,000 in May to install and manage the system. It is expected to bolster response times and inter-agency communications, officials said.
