The Saratogan: $2M dispatch upgrade improves public safety in Saratoga County

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. — In the past few days alone there’s been a major structure fire in Edinburg, a fatal accident in Ballston and the BOCES center in Saratoga Springs was locked down following threats of violence.

Saratoga County’s $2 million new computer-aided dispatch system helped police and emergency personnel respond to and manage each incident faster and more efficiently.
