As we start the new year, we’re excited to highlight the people who bring our mission to life.
At CentralSquare, we know that trust is earned, not given. That is why we are spotlighting employees whose lived experience shapes the way they support our customers every day. These team members reflect what matters most at CentralSquare: responsiveness, collaboration, purposeful service, and drive to deliver for our customers.
Meet Adam Goodner, a Solutions Consultant on the ONESolution demo team. After 31 years in law enforcement, Adam now helps public safety agencies modernize their operations with technology that saves time, reduces risk, and influences first responders to focus on what matters most: their communities.
Adam’s path from sergeant to solutions consultant was shaped by decades of public service and a lifelong commitment to helping others. Based in Florida, he spent more than 30 years in law enforcement, where he led the implementation and training of incident reporting systems that transformed how his agency operated.
“When our agency first went live with CentralSquare in 2013, I was a sergeant,” Adam recalled. “I took all the train-the-trainer classes and helped lead the rollout across our department. I have been hands-on with the technology ever since.”
That early exposure inspired Adam to make a career shift after retiring from law enforcement. “I still had years of work left in me,” he said.
“I wanted to keep serving, but in a new way that still made a difference.”
Today, Adam travels across the country helping agencies evaluate ONESolution and transition from manual, paper-based reporting to connected, digital systems. His background gives him instant credibility with officers who have been in his shoes.
“When I visit departments still writing reports by hand, I can relate,” he said.
“I have been there. I understand their pain points and can show them how technology can make their jobs easier and safer.”
In one recent discovery call, Adam was struck by how some agencies still rely on clipboards and manual approvals. “I was stunned that, in 2025, some departments are still uploading reports at the station and waiting for someone to sign off,” he said. “With CentralSquare, that entire process happens in real time, it’s seamless.”
Adam approaches every customer interaction with collaboration and purpose, listening closely to challenges and helping agencies find practical, forward-looking solutions. His experience serves as a reminder that innovation and reliability are both essential to public safety.
For Adam, CentralSquare offers the chance to keep serving while working alongside others who share that same dedication to public service.
“My team is made up of former law enforcement and dispatch professionals, so we all speak the same language as our customers,” he said.
“That connection builds trust. When I tell a chief or sergeant that I have walked in their shoes, it means something.”
In his role, Adam demonstrates collaboration, accountability, and purposeful service by partnering with customers to solve problems and improve the tools they rely on every day. He continues to learn new parts of the software, always driven by curiosity and a desire to help agencies work smarter.
Adam is one of many employees using their expertise to bolster communities across the country. Together, we are advancing CentralSquare’s mission to help agencies operate more efficiently, strengthen trust, and deliver extraordinary results for the people they serve.
