Another year at CentralSquare means another year of powering 8,000+ communities—and supporting the people who keep them safe and informed.

In 2025, public safety and public administration agencies continued to modernize and improve how they serve citizens. Together, we made meaningful progress.

From new technology launches to major customer milestones, this year brought steady innovation and real-world impact. It also highlighted the resilience, creativity, and collaboration that define the CentralSquare community.

This “2025 Wrapped” is your deeper look into the moments that shaped the year: what we built, what we learned, and what our customers achieved along the way. Let’s celebrate the work you’ve done and the momentum we’re carrying into 2026.

    Starting the Year Strong

January set the tone for 2025. CentralSquare began the year by acquiring Blueline—now known as Centerline AI, the only AI-powered platform built specifically for the public sector. The acquisition was a milestone that foreshadowed the rest of the year: innovative tools, stronger agencies, and faster modernization.

Centerline AI™ automates time-consuming tasks like report writing, case analysis, and data searches. It gathers insights in seconds, reduces administrative burdens, and helps teams work proactively. For frontline responders, investigators, records teams, and administrators, it means more time for mission-critical work and less time navigating manual processes.

The Blueline acquisition was more than a new product launch. It marked a year of growth and expansion for public sector technology. It set the stage for everything that followed in 2025, from new innovations to major customer wins. And it helped agencies nationwide rethink what’s possible with AI built for government.

    ENGAGE 2025

ENGAGE 2025 was one of the key highlights this year. Our annual user conference was held at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, FL in April. More than 1,700 attendees joined us for a week of learning, collaboration, and celebrating the public sector. We kicked things off with a golf tournament, giving customers, partners, and CentralSquare teams a chance to connect before the sessions began.

On the first night, we welcomed everyone with a tropical-themed reception—a relaxing start to an action-packed event. The opening keynote set the tone for the week, outlining CentralSquare’s goals for the year and reaffirming our commitment to public sector impact.

During the week, attendees participated in more than 200 sessions, including product deep dives, hands-on training, leadership discussions, and innovation workshops. Our exhibit hall hosted 25 sponsors, giving customers direct access to tools and partners shaping the next era of government technology.

We were also joined by Duncan Wardle, former Head of Innovation and Creativity at Disney, who brought powerful insights on reimagining problem-solving in the public sector.

The week ended on a high note with our Retro-Rewind Party. It was the perfect finale to a conference filled with connection, training, and forward momentum.

    Going Live in the Cloud

In April 2025, all three of our public safety suites—Pro, Enterprise, and ONESolution—officially went live in the cloud. This milestone was the culmination of years of groundwork, informed by customer feedback and guided by a shared vision for the future. Now agencies have access to systems that are more reliable, flexible, and ready to support 24/7 operations.

We also conducted the Cloud Research Study to better understand public sector sentiments around cloud migration. The study captured insights from 250 government agencies. It provides a detailed look at why teams are moving to the cloud, where they are in the journey, and how the shift is transforming operations.

From predictable costs to stronger security, cloud technology is reshaping the future of the public sector. Read the full Cloud Research Study to explore our findings.

    Hero-Grade: The New CentralSquare

Fall 2025 marked one of our biggest milestones yet: the introduction of the new CentralSquare. After years of standing alongside the agencies we serve, we knew it was time for our brand to fully reflect the unwavering commitment that drives our work. That led us to a rebrand centered on a simple truth—our solutions are built for heroes who always rise to the challenge.

“Hero-Grade” captures what we see in our customers. It means showing up with purpose. It means making an impact. And it means lifting others up along the way.

More than a visual update, Hero-Grade represents a renewed promise to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people who protect, support, and serve their communities. Discover what Hero-Grade means to CentralSquare.

    Customer Quotes and Stories

In 2025, we shined the spotlight on customers, highlighting the real impact they make every day.

One of the year’s most memorable stories came from the Fairbanks Emergency Communications Center in Alaska. Fairbanks had been using ONESolution for 10+ years to support dispatch across 22 emergency response agencies. When an earthquake knocked out power and communications for four hours, it became clear that their on-premise servers weren’t good enough.

“We’re not just responsible for our own agencies, we support two other dispatch centers that rely on our CAD to protect their communities. If we go down, they go down too,” said Kristi Merideth, Dispatch Manager at Fairbanks. “Moving to the cloud gives us the confidence we need to support everyone who relies on us.”

The CentralSquare cloud now powers public safety in one of the most remote and challenging environments in the country (Fairbanks, AK). Read more about Fairbanks ECC here.

Another standout story came from Ames, Iowa. Thanks to Naviline and CentralSquare Payments, their team continued to deliver essential services to a population of more than 66,000—despite limited staffing and resources.

“We like it because it’s all one product,” said Linda Sill, Systems Analyst for the City of Ames.  “We like the one-stop shop. If something goes wrong, I make one phone call. I’m not stuck in between the financial vendor and the credit card payment…I make one call and they just fix it.”

Learn how the City of Ames uses CentralSquare to accomplish more with fewer resources.

Ending the Year on a High Note

CentralSquare ended 2025 with a milestone that will shape the future of GovTech: the acquisition of FirstTwo, a pioneer in situational intelligence software. FirstTwo equips first responders with real-time, field-ready insights—helping them make faster, safer decisions in critical moments.

Bringing FirstTwo into the CentralSquare family strengthens our long-term vision. It expands our suite of modern cloud and AI solutions. It gets us closer to building a revolutionary Data Intelligence Platform designed specifically for the public sector.

With the help of FirstTwo, Centerline AI, and loyal customers like you, we’re creating a unified system where agencies can access the right data at the right time. Learn more about the acquisition here.
