Adapting Your Public Safety Software to Your Evolving Needs

Agency and citizen needs are ever-changing. As needs and expectations evolve, so does the technology that’s built to handle these demands.

Paper reports, manual data sharing, spreadsheets and stationary systems are not designed to keep your agency efficient. Aging technology affects your operations and your ability to provide service to the community.

You need a modern solution that can handle all your needs, and that adapts as your organization grows. CentralSquare delivers a unified, and highly configurable platform to maximize public safety.

CentralSquare Public Safety Pro Suite®

The power of our Public Safety Pro Suite is that it is one unified system – one application, one database and one vendor.

The system is an integrated suite of solutions that fulfill all the operating needs of police, fire and EMS agencies including:

  • Records Pro: Our records management system allows law enforcement agencies to locate and manage records quickly and efficiently.
  • CAD: Enables communication centers to capture, manage and prioritize information flow, getting data to and from the responders in the field.
  • Mobile: Fleet applications seamlessly extend CAD systems to in-vehicle computers. Officers can continue to do reports, check case records and even run NCIC queries.
  • Analytics: Robust analytics functionality is built into the system that allows you to pull your data out of the system through custom reports, without needing a third-party software.
  • Jail: A complete comprehensive inmate management solution that ensures the safety and security of correctional facilities. This includes the management of inmates from any disciplinary actions to jail incident reports, as well as monitoring and movement of inmates throughout the jail.

Our public safety solution also comes with CentralSquare-managed servers to lighten the load on your IT team. The system is designed to be a plug-and-play software to get you all the functionality your agency needs.

Highly Configurable System

As your agency’s needs change, your technology should also evolve. Public Safety Pro Suite features configurable components to meet your present and future needs.

Custom Fields

Within the system, you can add custom fields to a variety of pages for additional data your agency may want to collect. This can include fields for additional information for case and incident reports, arrest reports and booking requests.

Additionally, you are able to set specific permissions for what fields are created and what personnel are allowed to make these customizations.

Custom Forms

The ability to create custom forms is specifically beneficial for anything that is state, county, municipal or even agency-specific forms. You can build these forms from the CAD, RMS and Jail modules of the system.

You can take these forms and integrate the information into your system to create a searchable and reportable database.

Custom Modules

Although Public Safety Suite Pro is comprised of an extensive set of features, there are some processes that are specific to your agency that aren’t included in the system. Custom modules allow users to create those agency-specific workflows to track and report data that can be integrated into their system.

An example of this would be a fire department building out a fire protection system permit workflow that isn’t native to the system. You can create the module and develop data fields to create a searchable and printable form for anyone applying for the permit.

Other CentralSquare customers have used the custom modules capability to create workflows for missing persons and person-of-interest posters and reports. This information is accessible to any individual user or other organization that has access to the system.

The system is adaptable and automated to fit all your needs, without requiring a third-party solution or vendor.

Mustang Police Department, OK

For the Mustang Police Department of Oklahoma, having a robust solution for public safety isn’t a luxury, but it’s a necessity to stay operational.

They currently have over 100 users operating on their Public Safety Suite system across multiple agencies, including the police department, the fire department, court systems, city hall and animal welfare. This creates a consistent need for collaboration and information sharing.

At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the police department was able to coordinate with the health department through a custom module built into their system. The health department would report addresses where there were active Covid cases, and this information was available to officers.

In cases where officers responded to incidents where there was Covid exposure, officers were able to take extra precautions to increase safety.

Lieutenant Dylan Wilson of the Mustang Police Department said, “Our previous system was a punch card system. So, there was a massive duplication in everything we did. With the actual paper trail of everything that went around, it’s hard to even fathom how long it took to do things.”

After implementing Public Safety Suite Pro, the Mustang Police Department has increased efficiency in their workflows by automating processes of reporting, data collection and information sharing across local agencies.
